Nevada Neo - All Black

I bought these as a fashion boot—to wear on evening outings and on certain occasions. A few months after buying these, my work boots began separating at the sole after only about 10 months of use. These boots were the next in line in terms of ruggedness that I had, so I transitioned them to work boots which was a bit painful. I thought they would quickly come apart and get destroyed because they’re not really advertised as a work boot in any way. I have to say, I was proven very wrong. I’m about 14 months into wearing them and the sole is still attached, the strings are in good shape, the leathered is worn and scarred up but overall holding up really well, and the tread still has a lot of life left. Unbelievable. I’ve worn these nearly every day. They’ve been soaked all the way through with water, they get hosed off every day to wash off cow manure (I work on a dairy), I’ve welded in them and had sparks in them. They’re protected my foot against sharp metal. I’ve taken them through snow as well as a hot summer. For the snow a thick sock will keep your foot warm. For the heat a thin sock is quite breathable with all the foot space you have with a barefoot boot. All in all, I’m writing this review because if anyone is interested in a barefoot for rugged working purposes (so long as you don’t need a steel toe) these will do the job. I’m a little blown away when I stop to reflect on what these boots are being put through versus what they were probably designed for. It actually has saved me money on buying another pair of work boots for the last 14 months. I hope this review helps someone who may be looking for a work boot, you should not be scared to put these through the ringer.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesen Schuhen. Habe Größe 41 und hier Größe 42 bestellt. Zuerst dachte ich dass sie mir zu groß sind, aber als Winterschuh mit Lammfelleinlage oder Wollsocken ist das ideal. Bin sehr zufrieden mit meiner Entscheidung.
